The ApocalypseI was in a room in a nondescript house; it was probably mine in the future. We could smell rain in the air and knew a storm was coming. I’ve always loved watching storms, so we stood off the back porch and looked towards the hills in the East where the storm should have been coming from at any moment. Dad was talking nonchalantly about some other mundane topic, and I was just enjoying breathing in the smell of rain.
